My Get Rich Slow Scheme

| | Comments (0)

In previous entries I have commented on the excessive purchasing of soda pop in my school. No doubt, I have also commented on the amount of bottles that are strewn around the building as a result of certain peoples' apparent inability to put their trash in a proper receptacle. After being constantly annoyed by this, I have found I productive way to profit from it. Each one of these soda pop bottles can fetch $0.05 at the "bottle return" at the local grocery store (this actually credit for the store, but my mom has agreed to give me the amount of the credit in cash if I give her the credit). I have gradually collected and stockpiled these bottles, and I will be cashing in my first load once I fill up a garbage bag with them. So far, I would reckon that I have filled it up to about one-third of its capacity.
