Election Commentary: Condemn the Vandals!!!
In ancient times a Germanic tribe named the Vandals sacked Rome and looted the Italian Peninsula. Today we use still use the word "vandal" to describe someone of such detestable character as to willfully destroy or deface public or private property. In a sense we are comparing them to extremely violent and disruptive peoples... which they are, I might add. I have suffered the unprovoked wrath of these obnoxious malignants. My posters for my bid for class president were torn off the wall, spat upon, and thrown on the floor, while I was left to stare suspiciously at a very large poster vouching for someone running for class treasurer, which had been placed in the former location of mine. (I'm not sure if that sentence was grammatically correct.) There is a very large outrage that has grown among a great number of people, due to this unsportsmanly act. I stress that the perpetrator of this act is still unknown, and it may have not even been one of my opponents; nevertheless, suspicion is raging among the masses.

It's not grammatically correct. You need an "of" in there.
thanks
