Guilt and a Poll

| | Comments (2)

Well, I must say I have been feeling a bit guilty. I've recieved multiple requests that I not write in Esperanto in this blog, and yet I still do. Then someone commented that my writing here was very pompous. Considering that I write with usually only my personal enjoyment in mind, I didn't really care at first. But then I realized that people might be finding my "pompousness" obnoxious or offensive. And then, being a bit alarmed, I realized that writing with only myself in mind was a bit selfish, and so I have proceeded to write this entry to clear my conscience so that I can feel better (Oh, how ironic that is!). I am therefore conducting a poll, modeled on modern standardized tests, to determine whether people find my style of writing to be a) bad (i.e. obnoxious, offensive, or otherwise despicable), b) good (i.e. noteworthy, amusing, or otherwise commendable), c) of such a style that does not provoke comment (i.e. don't care, I need sleep, who cares?, etc.), or perhaps a better choice: d) do not understand what you mean by "style of writing." In order to participate, simply post a comment to this entry with your letter of choice. You do not need to put your name. Thank you.
