"odd interactions and encounters:" An Attempt at Raising Readership Numbers
Our group gave our presentation on our book today in English, and I can't say whether we succeeded at our goal of making it interesting and captivating. It lasted 50 minutes (and we still didn't finish; more tomorrow), had food for the class, and had several movies of scene cuts from our book, including one of myself dressed as a female talking with a Mississippi accent about having children (believe me it wasn't pretty, but for the sake of entertainment...). Oh, and by the way, I will make sure that the tape is destroyed. Nevertheless, I think that it was fairly boring. Despite the fact that I was part of the presentation, just listening to people ramble on about Congolese foods and climate is enough to make one very sleepy... even at 11:30 AM. Lucky for me!! I get to do my speech on the themes of our book tomorrow, and considering that Ms. Wood knows our book better than she knows the mysterious places where she keeps our corrected work, she will undoubtably find some thoughtful way to lampoon me.
I'm experimenting with a new style of material and writing that I am hoping will raise the declining readership levels on this blog. If you feel somehow implored to comment, it would not be unwarrented.

I liked your essay on Saturday's events. That was a very accurate description of what we see every time we go. It definitely gives you a certain feeling of that side of society. Your insight is amazing for 15, I mean 14!
