Gah!
Good for Leeor...you could tell he was still sorta a nervous wreck up there, and I always, always vote for the nervous wrecks. I think I did the same thing for the Rose Festival Princess, too. The people who go up there and are really incredibly nervous almost never win though, so hey, more power to him for pulling it off.
And why the "Gah!". I might guess and I'd agree with you, but I'll let you explain in case I'm not thinking of the same thing you are.
you vote for nervous wrecks? why. do you really think this person who doesn't even have the guts to speak in front of their peers really has the ability to take control and be in a leadership position?
once again, the only female officer. it's fucking sad, all of it. especially molly's loss. what the hell.
Now Molly, calm yourself. I think that Maxwell's point is that nervous people never win, so he was voting for the candidate who he thought wouldn't win. His strategy backfired apparently. I hereby decline all further comment on this election... and no, I didn't vote because I didn't need to.
My point above refers to the fact that Maxwell might not have thought Leeor the best candidate for the job... Ahhhh.... I'm going to shut up now....
Molly, certainly you were more qualified for the position, my concern on voting was creating a more diverse group of class officers. Now, I know Leeor okay and I'm not sure I've said a word to you my entire life, which doesn't really mean anything except that I went into the thing knowing who Leeor was and not really knowing who you were, and I came out of the speeches with the same thing. And although it may be sort of a shame that a candidate with less experience got voted in with sympathy being a large factor, I personally that Leeor's somebody who could represent a much different group of people who usually aren't represented in the class officers.
And of course none of this is representitive of the kind of person you are, because if Adam says you're awesome, then you most definitely are. I bet you're not to pleased with the way things went down, and I understand, I've lost one of these things too.
Mmm.... I'd just like to say that I swayed the entire election by slandering Molly's name. I simply rock, sometimes.
PS: Maybe that's a complete lie, but still. It'd be cool if I DID have the power to sway the election. Since when does qualification have anything to do with getting elected?
PPS: In response to the last rhetorical question, I'd just like to reinforce that claim by pointing at A) Ben DeMarco, and B) Alex Burson.
Fin.
