Do you agree with that statement of Voltaire's?

Well... Let me just say that everything is a matter of degrees. Is ice really the same as water? Yes, but it's a matter of degrees... Degrees celsius, to be specific. One's belief in something is merely a reflection of these same degrees. Is my degree of belief in Voltaire, the same as his belief in himself? Certainly no.

Great use of politi-speak. Now, to what degree do you agree with it?

Thank you Colin! I was rather pleased with my response also. But let me pose a new challenge for you. Obviously you know the quotation in question and you know my politikparolrespondo. With that in mind, I think that you are perfectly capable of inferring the answer to your question from what I've already written and what I'm about to write. Now, it is understandable if you hate inferrances because I do too, but I'm interested to see what you come up with. It could be a great boon for my dogmatic campaign against all forms of inferrence on a social level.

I don't hate all inferences, just ones forced on me when someone's being so obstinate they refuse to anxwer a simple question. I infer that you do agree with at least the general idea the quotation is expressing (lyrics in general suck), but not that all lyrics are inherantly stupid. How close am I?
