A slang term rarely replaces the actual word. It ususally just becomes either an stylish/rebellious/youthful alternative way of expressing something, or come to mean a similar but not identical idea.
And by the way, I despise the phrase "I heart you."

Better make that "your" not "you"
Isn't despotism a form or government? I'd just go with the gerund on that one, or just say "opinion" or somethign.
