I found an interesting plugin for MovableType called MT-Blacklist. It does content-based blocking, but that only works so well. For now, I've turned off HTML in comments. More to come later.

Heyyyy.... I'm here at college. It's so sweet. I'm taking organic chemistry, differential equations/linear algebra, jap 4, rhetoric and composition, and basic lab skills.
I've got three research projects that are open to me: the first one concerns the investigation of things called "persistent organic pollutants", which are basically organic molecules that don't seem to be able to be dissolved via regular environmental conditions. The goal is to figure out how to dissolve them. The second one is a pretty broad project designed to figure out ways to create more environmentally friendly chemical processes, or figure out how to treat environmentaly unfriendly chemical by-products from the manufacture of organic materials like polymers and polyesters. The final one, and the one that I really wanna get into, is doing research into "novel" methods of water treatment, which can potentially be used in developing nations and refugee camps.
I'm so working for the UN when I get back from the Peace Corps. Oh, and I'm going abroad to Japan my junior year. You should come here, I think you'd definitely like it... at least visit.
The first or the last is definately the best. Speaking of novel ways to treat water: recently researchers discovered that filtering water through a bed of rusty nails removes nearly all of the arsenic from the water. It's pretty amazing. Those kinds of things are really cool, but hard because they have to be insanely cheap and simple. Good luck! I'm glad to hear that everything is going well. I'm jealous of your classes. Guess what I get to take this year? Nah, I won't bore you with it; it's so uninteresting.
Gimme your schedule or suffer pain, punk!
Okay, so I'm at our house in Utah for the time being, so I missed the main registration, and I don't have my schedule. I will end up taking the following though:
Adv Physics
Ecology
Econ/Poly Sci-A
Calc 3-4
English 5-6-A
Spanish 5-6
Leadership
As far as I know, they're making most of the "advanced" classes AP, so I think the first four on that list are for the corresponding exam. That's good, because those four are the most interesting anyway. I'm glad you're enjoying things. That generally is the case until the work sets in. And since your in the sciences, you should continue having fun all the way through to the end. What is it, chemistry and chemical engineering that you were last planning on majoring in? Good luck old sport!
there is an ecology ap, but the wilson course doesn't follow it. zaraza kind of made up his own curriculum. i've heard it's a good class anyhow though.
