Mere Years After the Apocalypse, the Scourge Ruled the Earth. But the Lord Said, "Firefox 1.0," and then there was Light!
Expect a release of the final version of Mozilla's standalone browser "Firefox" this week. In other news, school is going even better than expected, and Leeor and I are planning our own metaphorical suicide. Calc is going to be a complete waste of time, so we're thinking about studying first semester multivariable topics so we can test out of MATH 211 at Reed next year. We also studied physics at Jon's house at 11 AM saturday for some totally incomprehensible reason. Hopefully Friday's events netted a good amount of money for leadership. And my pool skills really need some serious work. Time to sleep!
Vale!

The Preview Release will be out this week, not the final. We're testing the builds now which will become 1.0 Preview Release hopefully tomorrow.

Holy crap. Uhh... does a tester read your blog or something? That's really weird. Anyway, read my blog and tell me what you think.
I just downloaded the Firefox pre-release and it seems to work great, so far. It seamlessly imported all my history, bookmarks, etc., from the browser of my choice (Netscape), instead of just sticking all my bookmarks in an "Imported IE Bookmarks" folder like Netscape did when I switched from IE. The tabbed view feature is cool, too (viewing more than one Web page in a window).
