I often wonder when more people will realize the irony of structuring their lives around notions that are, by definition, unprovable.

Science is a sham. I lost faith because science is merely a collection of assumptions and approximations--nothing more. If a TOE or GUT is found, then I shall reconsider.

I disagree. I feel that for anything to be considered "truth," it must be proven.
