Milton Friedman is Dead!

At last, the time comes. The world's influential economist of the 20th century is dead, after directing economic policy and the direction of macroeconomic theory for 50 years. I imagine that the economics department will be somewhat somber tomorrow.

I suppose this might be the right time, after two abortive attempts, to make it to the end of "Free to Choose."

We seem to be losing people like flies these days. This year alone we lost Gailbraith (IIRC), Browne, and Friedman. Others will spring to mind when I finish posting, per usual.
