Yeah, my analogy was a bad one. I didn't mean that it was unpleasant. I meant it was intense and unceasing. In fact, it is pleasant in a sense.
If I were trying to describe something pleasant in a sense, the last thing I would compare it to is being punched in the face. Unless you truly are (physically) masochistic... Anyways, I'm glad you enjoy such academic intensity, because I doubt I could handle it.
