Something about algebra is just so annoying. Group theory is just so... blah... Undoubtedly in no small part because I am going to fail my midterm tomorrow.

That's funny; I always rather liked it. I think that algebra considers things in terms of discrete elements, rather than as a smooth field...wrong word, fields can be discrete. Continuum. There's the term for it. Unless that means something. It's really pleasant to get out to the abstract, where we consider only operations and their properties rather than perpetually focusing on an operative specific in the reals.

Midterm, fail, what? Tell us how it goes, no?
